Jensen Huang's internal letter: OpenAI Codex has been made available to all NVIDIA employees, marking the official arrival of the AI Agent era

BlockBeats News, April 25 — Jensen Huang revealed in an internal email sent to all employees that OpenAI’s latest release, Codex (based on GPT-5.5), has officially been made available to all NVIDIA staff.

Jensen Huang stated that approximately 10k employees have experienced Codex in advance and have achieved significant results across departments such as engineering, product, and marketing, with some employees saying it has “completely changed the way they work.”

The email pointed out that Codex runs on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, combining AI infrastructure to achieve a leap from “chatbot answering questions” to “Agent autonomously completing tasks.” Jensen Huang emphasized that the Agent will become employees’ “teammate” and “productivity multiplier.”

Additionally, NVIDIA and OpenAI have established the Codex Lab and plan to launch training courses in the coming weeks to accelerate employee adoption. Jensen Huang said, “Welcome to the AI era.”
