Balancer attacker-associated address transferred 5,609 ETH to THORChain in the past 9 hours, worth $13 million.

According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi monitoring, the related attack address for the Balancer theft incident in November 2025 (losses of over $116 million) transferred 5,609 ETH, about $13 million, to the cross-chain protocol THORChain within the past 9 hours, for further money laundering and cross-chain swaps. The attack has been attributed by multiple parties to the North Korean hacker organization Lazarus Group, consistent with the main entities behind the Aave attack during the same period; in the two recent incidents, both frequently used Tornado Cash for mixing and laundering, with highly similar fund flow paths.
