#震荡行情交易策略

☕ In the crypto world on weekends, saying it's "unpredictable" is polite; it's basically a magical scene where "the main players are digging wildly with excavators, and the needle insertions are more punctual than a clock." During weekdays, liquidity supports the market, but once the weekend hits, the order book is as thin as a sheet of paper, and a small amount of funds can send prices flying all over the place. Last second, it’s a slow rise, next second, a needle insertion crashes the market. Many are awakened by margin call texts in the middle of the night, staring at the screen, questioning life—"Am I trading coins or crossing a tribulation?"

As a veteran player who has been in the crypto scene for a long time, my weekend "needle dodging for survival" skills can be summarized in eight words: reduce leverage on Friday, hold small positions without going all-in, plus a lazy trick—just watch the show on weekends, and if you get itchy, drink tea.

First, the core operation: before the market closes on Friday, never hold high leverage overnight! During weekdays, you can gamble with 5x or 10x leverage, but weekend liquidity is cut in half, and needle insertions are completely irrational. 10x leverage can lead to liquidation in minutes, with no reaction time. My habit is: on Friday afternoon, reduce leverage to within 2x, directly clear leverage on altcoins, and only keep mainstream coins like BTC and ETH with light spot positions. All other funds are converted into USDT to "lie flat." Don’t think earning less this way is bad; not losing money over the weekend already puts you ahead of 90% of people.

Next, a small detail about stop-loss: weekend stop-losses must be "wider" than usual! Normally, a 2% drop triggers a stop-loss, but on weekends, set it to 5%-7%. Why? Because weekend needle insertions are fake and frequent, with prices moving up and down randomly. Tight stop-loss is like sending a head to the main players—they just take your stop-loss and then the price immediately rebounds, increasing your losses. Wide stop-loss isn’t about not stopping at all, but about avoiding meaningless noise fluctuations and protecting your core positions.

The most critical point: absolutely no opening new positions on weekends! Many people are bored on weekends, watching the market oscillate back and forth, thinking they can grab some small profits. They can’t resist opening new trades, but end up either getting stopped out by needle insertions or stuck in the middle of a move. My weekend rule: don’t watch the market anxiously, don’t operate when itchy, mute the trading app. Watch dramas or spend time with family. If you really want to monitor, set a 5% price change alert—if it doesn’t hit, don’t look at the market.

Actually, surviving in the crypto world on weekends is never about having super skills or sharp eyesight; it’s about having a steady mindset and strict risk control. Those who dodge big drops and avoid needle insertions aren’t lucky—they understand the principle of "taking only one ladle from the river of 3,000." Don’t greedily chase profits that aren’t yours, and avoid unnecessary risks.

Gate Square’s "Safe Harbor Plan" this time is ultimately a reminder: in crypto, survival is more important than getting rich overnight. Weekend volatility isn’t a flood monster but a test of our risk management and mental resilience. Less fantasy about overnight riches, more clarity about steady survival. Reduce leverage, hold small positions, control your hands—then you’ll find that not losing money on weekends is the biggest profit.
