US media: Iran is open to negotiations with the United States but insists on its right to uranium enrichment

BlockBeats News, April 25, according to The Wall Street Journal, a senior diplomat from Iran stated that Iran is open to negotiations with the United States but will not abandon its uranium enrichment activities.

Iran’s ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, posted on social media on Saturday, saying: “Negotiations can only yield proper results when our opponents acknowledge our right to peaceful nuclear energy use.”

The report states that the United States is currently seeking to have Iran suspend its uranium enrichment program for up to 20 years.
