After this upgrade the $ETH fees is expected to go down significantly. We still need to see the impact. If successful, this upgrade could significantly boost Ethereum adoption.

➔ Proto-danksharding aims to enhance data storage efficiency & reduce transaction costs for layer-2 blockchains.
