Huge BTC Options deal attracts attention!
Today, a prominent Options trade appeared on Deribit, the world's leading derivatives trading platform. According to Lin Chen, head of Asia Pacific business at Deribit, BTC Options trading on the platform is extremely active today, with two Block Trading being particularly noteworthy.
One of the Large Investors threw $1.41 million to All in 400 put options expiring at the end of May with an exercise price of $62,000. This move undoubtedly sent a strong shorter signal to the market, triggering a wide discussion in the industry about the price trend of BTC. Market analysts believe that this may be the prediction of large investors on the future price trend of BTC, or it may be a strategy to seek hedging risks in market fluctuations.
At the same time, another large investor took a very different strategy. He shuttled a $75,000 call option expiring at the end of September and a $100,000 call option, involving a total of 339 BTC, resulting in a $1.49 million premium. This operation shows that the large investors have complex expectations for the future price of BTC, which is both shorter and longer, and seems to be carrying out a more complex investment strategy layout.
