#PI Pi Network, launched by Dr. Nicholas Kokalis and Dr. Cheng Diaofan, both graduates of Stanford University, on March 14, 2019, aims to achieve decentralized access to encryption currency by allowing users to mine Pi coins on mobile devices without consuming a large amount of energy. Dr. Kokalis holds a Ph.D. in computer science and is committed to enhancing the blockchain experience in a user-centric manner. Dr. Fan focuses on computational social science, emphasizing community participation and decentralized governance within the network.

Pi Network adopts the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) (, achieving efficient and low-energy mobile mining. Its unique trust circle mechanism ensures transaction verification through the network established by users, promoting security and Decentralization. As of January 2025, the project has over 70 million users globally and has experienced significant growth.
