I just don't understand, is the computing power of a mobile phone greater than that of a PC or what? The thing about mobile mining isn't that the phone runs continuously, but rather it works in conjunction with a PC. In fact, cryptocurrency isn't about competing on computing power, but rather about balancing security and computing power. Ethereum's algorithm is the solution to this issue, and with BTC being so energy-intensive, it's no wonder the government is considering a ban.
