Users make payments via an exclusive checkout payment page provided by Gate Pay. This payment method includes both QR code payments and on-chain address payments.
QR Code Payment
Please use the Gate App to scan the QR code on the merchant’s checkout page, and ensure that your Payment Account has sufficient funds to complete the payment.
1. Choose the available crypto and chain at the merchant’s checkout page.
2. Choose [Gate Payment].
3. Open the Gate App, click the [Scan] icon, and scan the QR code on the right.
4. Confirm the order information and complete the payment.
On-Chain Address Payment
On-chain Address Payment is applicable to Gate users and non-Gate users. As long as you have any DeFi wallet, you can use the On-chain Address Payment. Please ensure to use the chain and cryptocurrency supported by the merchant for payment.
1. Choose the available crypto and chain at the merchant’s checkout page.
2. Choose [Connect Wallet].
2.1 Click on [Connect Wallet] and select the wallet you want to connect to.
2.2 Connect your personal wallet.
2.3 After connecting, Gate Pay automatically identifies the wallet balance and network. Click [Confirm Payment].
Note: When the wallet balance is insufficient, it will prompt that the balance is insufficient; when the network selection is incorrect, it will prompt to change the network.
2.4 Gate Pay initiates the wallet, completes the payment within the wallet, and waits for the blockchain to recognize the funds' arrival. The payment is complete (gas fee is required).
3. Choose [Scan Code to Transfer].
3.1 Open any wallet app and scan the QR code on the right to identify the transfer information. Confirm the transfer address and payment amount (gas fee is required) and complete the payment.
3.2 Click [Done] to check the payment status. The payment is successful once Gate Pay recognizes the full amount of funds received.
