PANews reported on April 24, citing PYMNTS and The Information, that OpenAI expects its annual revenue to reach $125 billion by 2029, with further growth to $174 billion by 2030, at which point revenue from AI agents and new products will surpass that of the existing ChatGPT. The company’s revenue for 2024 is projected to be $3.7 billion, with expected cash expenditures of $46 billion over the next four years, and it aims to achieve a positive cash flow of $2 billion by 2029. OpenAI is undergoing a comprehensive transformation towards AI infrastructure and application development, with the latest o3 and o4-mini models referred to as “intelligent leap forward,” driving the development of AI systems capable of autonomously executing tasks.
