CEX launches the first traditional asset perpetual contract product XAU (spot gold)
On December 11, according to official page information, the CEX contract has added the trading of traditional asset XAU (spot gold) perpetual contracts. According to previous announcements, CEX today launched traditional asset perpetual contracts under the brand name “TradFi Perps.” The main difference between TradFi Perps and U-margin perpetual contracts is the trading hours of the underlying asset. Unlike cryptocurrencies traded 24/7, traditional assets (such as XAU) typically follow a 24/5 trading schedule, with a one-hour maintenance window each day, and are affected by scheduled and unscheduled market closures.
