ngl the risk-adjusted returns on this one actually had the math working out differently than expected... statistically speaking, when the vol compression aligns with your entry thesis like that, the drawdown recovery trajectory does tend to compound rather aggressively. contrary to popular belief tho, most ppl don't account for the correlation drift
