What is Gate Alpha Points?
Alpha Points is an activity assessment metric based on users’ behavior within the Gate platform and the Alpha ecosystem. The point value is the cumulative total of daily points earned over the past 15 days. The more actively users hold assets and engage in trading, the more points they will earn.
The core function of points is that it will directly determine whether a user is eligible to participate in various rights activities in the Alpha Zone, including but not limited to TGE subscriptions, token Airdrops, and other limited reward activities. The higher the points, the greater the chance of obtaining eligibility to participate in quality projects.
How are points calculated?
Balance points
Gate Alpha converts the qualified assets held by users in centralized exchanges (including the tokens listed in the spot market and Alpha district assets) into USD market value daily, serving as the basis for the balance points of that day. Assets not included in the calculation are: tokens not listed on Gate or not entering the Alpha display area, tokens not supported for trading on the internal market, etc.Transaction Volume Points
Only the "buy" transaction amount of users in the Alpha Selection area on the Gate platform is counted; selling transactions and internal market data are not included.
The rules for earning points are as follows:
- First purchase of at least 2 USDT per day can earn 1 point;
- For every doubling of the purchase amount, you can earn an additional 1 point. For example: buying 4 USDT gives 2 points, buying 8 USDT gives 3 points, and so on.
- Special Bonus Activity: Gate Alpha will periodically hold trading incentive activities for designated tokens, during which participating in specific token trades can earn additional points. Please refer to the activity announcement for details.
Snapshot Mechanism and Points Update
- Daily snapshot time: 07:59:59 (UTC+8), the system will record the user’s assets and trading behavior for the day;
- Points update time: Before 14:00 on the same day, the system will update the total points for the past 15 days;
- Example: If you complete a transaction before 07:59:59 on April 23, this record will be counted towards April 22; if it is later than this time, it will belong to April 23.
How to check my Alpha points?
Alpha points are only supported in Gate App version 7.14.0 and above. You can access the points viewing page through the following methods:

- Method 2: Top right corner of the order panel → Click on 【Alpha points】
- Method 3: App homepage search bar → Enter 【Alpha points】 → Click to enter
The points page not only displays your current total points, but also allows you to view daily details, historical activity records, and the Airdrop redemption entry.
What can points be exchanged for?

- Event Time: August 1, 2025 20:00 - August 2, 2025 20:00 (UTC+8)
- Eligibility: ≥ 65 points
- Airdrop Amount: 66 RION per person
- Points Required: 10 points needed
- Distribution Time: Distributed to Alpha account within 1 hour after successful claim.
Please note that all Airdrops require users to actively claim within a specified time frame. If not claimed within the deadline, it will be considered as forfeiting the qualification, and there will be no reissue.
