With just one week left in 2025, Mantle Network has announced a groundbreaking achievement—its ecosystem’s total value locked (TVL) has surpassed $100 million for the first time, marking a major milestone that coincides with a series of year-end initiatives from Mantle.
Backed by partners like Bybit and Gate, Mantle is evolving from a pure high-performance Layer-2 network into a full-stack on-chain financial ecosystem that integrates real-world assets (RWA) and institutional-grade financial products.
01 Ecosystem Boom
Mantle’s year-end activities are in full swing, with a wave of strategic partnerships and product launches injecting strong momentum into the network.
On December 22, Mantle joined forces with Bybit and structured yield platform CIAN to launch the Bybit Mantle Vault. This native on-chain stablecoin yield product allows users to deposit USDC or USDT via Bybit Earn, with funds directly deployed into market-neutral stablecoin strategies managed by CIAN.
The Vault product eliminates the need for users to manually swap or manage leverage, significantly lowering the barrier for CeFi users to participate in DeFi yield strategies.
This collaboration leverages the strengths of all three parties: Mantle delivers a low-cost, high-performance execution layer with composability; Bybit acts as the distribution channel, reaching its roughly 80 million global users; and CIAN contributes its expertise in structured on-chain yields and experience with approximately $1.4 billion in TVL.
02 Data Highlights
In its recently released 2025 ecosystem summary, Mantle showcased impressive annual results. The network’s total value locked has exceeded $2.2 billion, while its treasury assets have soared to a staggering $7.9 billion.
Stablecoin supply on the network has surpassed $750 million, and the ecosystem now boasts over 200 partners and decentralized applications.
These figures reflect Mantle’s transformation from a purely technical layer to a comprehensive application ecosystem. According to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko, Mantle has entered the top 30 cryptocurrencies globally, with its community surpassing 1 million members.
Mantle has also made significant strides in infrastructure. The network completed integration with EigenLayer, becoming the first and largest Layer-2 network to partner with EigenLayer. By adopting ZK Validity Rollup technology, Mantle has become the largest ZK Rollup by TVL.
03 Market Performance
On Gate, Mantle ecosystem tokens have shown active market performance. For example, the flagship token Mantle (MNT) has maintained healthy price fluctuations on Gate as of the latest data on December 24.
According to Gate’s official data, the overall market cap for Mantle ecosystem tokens is approximately ¥47.71 billion, with a 24-hour change of +0.26% and trading volume reaching ¥214.13 million, marking a 24-hour increase of +0.71%.
Other tokens in the ecosystem, such as Interest Protocol (IPT), are trading at around ¥7.14 with a 24-hour gain of 0.23%; Toshi (TOSHI) is trading at approximately ¥0.7521, up 2.57% in the last 24 hours.
These figures demonstrate that Mantle ecosystem tokens maintain high liquidity and trading activity on Gate, reflecting market confidence in Mantle’s growth prospects.
04 Strategic Partnerships
In August, Mantle and Bybit completed a deep integration covering spot trading, institutional business, and Bybit VIP services. This integration has reshaped the use cases for the MNT token, providing comprehensive services for both retail and professional investors.
Gate, as one of Mantle’s key ecosystem partners, announced the listing of 21 MNT trading pairs back in October and launched a "Hold and Earn" campaign backed by the XUSD stablecoin.
With an average daily trading volume of $4.5 billion, Gate’s vast user base offers crucial liquidity support for Mantle ecosystem projects.
After October, Mantle fully pivoted to the RWA sector, securing major partnerships with institutions like Anchorage, Aave, Ethena, Agora, and Securitize, further solidifying its position as an institutional-grade distribution layer.
05 Community & Developers
Mantle’s success is not only reflected in technical metrics and market data but also in its vibrant global community and developer ecosystem.
In 2025, Mantle hosted its largest global hackathon to date, attracting over 800 developers. Additionally, Mantle launched the industry’s first RWA Scholars Program, selecting six scholars from five countries out of more than 2,000 global creator applications.
On the community front, Mantle organized 67 global AMAs, 25 international events, 12 developer meetups, and 19 online activities this year. From ETHDenver and TOKEN2049 to Korea Blockchain Week and CCCC Lisbon, Mantle’s global presence continues to expand.
These initiatives have not only increased Mantle’s global influence but also brought more innovative applications and users into the ecosystem.
Outlook
From the full pivot to RWA in October to the concentrated product launches in December, Mantle’s packed calendar underscores its determination to capture market share. As 2025 draws to a close, Mantle has made it clear that scaling on-chain real-world assets, deepening institutional financial integration, and expanding global distribution and developer adoption will be its key priorities for 2026.
Whether it’s the yield products launched in partnership with Bybit or the actively traded ecosystem tokens on platforms like Gate, these year-end initiatives are more than just celebrations of achievement—they are crucial springboards for Mantle’s expansion into the broader financial world.
