According to a report from 深潮 TechFlow on April 11, Tim Beiko summarized the 209th Ethereum execution layer core developer meeting (ACDE) held on April 10. The meeting confirmed that the Pectra client will be released before April 21, and the mainnet upgrade is scheduled for May 7, (Epoch 364032). Several Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIP) were upgraded from “might include” (PFI) status to “confirmed include” (CFI), including EIP-7823( setting the MODEXP upper limit ), EIP-7825( transaction Gas upper limit ), and EIP-7907( contract code size measurement and increase limit ), among others. Developers also discussed the priority of increasing the Gas limit after the Pectra upgrade and reached a broad consensus on restructuring the AllCoreDevs structure, which will be implemented after Pectra goes live.
