According to Techub News, reported by Decrypt, Emma Reynolds, the Economic Secretary to the Treasury of the UK, stated at the Financial Times Digital Assets Summit that the UK will not follow the US in establishing a national crypto asset reserve. Reynolds explicitly pointed out: "We believe this approach is not suitable for our market, although we understand this is the choice of the US, but this is not our plan." Nevertheless, Reynolds stated that the UK is seeking to align with the US in other areas. She revealed that the UK Chancellor has met with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and the two sides have established a senior officials working group.
