Bhutan government address transferred out 175 BTC 2 hours ago, worth $11 million

Gate News reports that on March 9, Arkham monitoring showed that the Bhutan government address transferred 175 Bitcoin from its hosting address two hours ago, worth approximately $11 million. The last such transaction occurred a month ago when the Bhutan government sold $7 million worth of BTC through QCP Capital. Data indicates that the Bhutan government regularly sells portions of its Bitcoin holdings in batches ranging from $5 million to $10 million, with a particularly intensive selling period in late September 2025.
