Gate News: On March 12, asset management firm VanEck and fintech company Basic Capital announced a partnership to include some digital asset ETFs in their corporate 401(k) retirement plan platform. This allows American retirees to indirectly invest in cryptocurrencies through exchange-traded funds. VanEck’s related products include the spot Bitcoin ETF VanEck Bitcoin Trust (HODL) and the Ethereum ETF VanEck Ethereum Trust (ETHV). Previously, the U.S. Department of Labor had withdrawn restrictive guidelines on offering crypto investments in 401(k) plans.
