PANews reported on November 24th that Toly, co-founder of Solana, responded to a community member’s question, saying, “ZK is slower than traditional calculations. Therefore, because there is no religious reason to limit the capacity of the Full Node, Solana is always faster than ZK.” In response, Alex Gluchowski, CEO of Matter Labs, the developer of ZKsync, said, “ZK is always faster than Solana because it is protected by mathematics rather than validators, which means one or a few validators (for redundancy) are enough without waiting for Consensus among thousands of Nodes.”
