The Ethereum 2.0 Beacon Deposit contract holds over 72.4 million ETH, representing about 60% of total supply, making it the largest ETH owner, surpassing individual and organizational holdings. Major players and exchanges also hold significant amounts.

In 2025, the Ethereum holdings landscape presents a whole new look: the ETH2 beacon chain deposit contract has become the largest single holder with 66.8 million ETH (worth approximately 28.7 billion USD), accounting for more than half of the total circulating supply.
