[April Crypto Market Outlook] BTC falls below 85,000, ETH loses 1900! Is April the starting point for a reversal or a deeper adjustment?

March has just passed, and the crypto market caught everyone off guard:
• BTC has fallen about 5% this month, with the current price dropping to around $84,600;
• ETH fall exceeds 10%, currently fluctuating in the 1870-1900 range;
• Altcoins have overall entered a moderate to severe correction phase, with pullbacks of 30%-50% being common, and even popular concepts are struggling to remain unaffected.

At the same time, April will usher in a series of overlapping macro risk factors, the most typical of which is:

Trump's tariff policy is about to be implemented, coupled with fluctuating expectations of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve and rising geopolitical risks, adding more uncertainty to an already fragile market.

So the question arises:

April, is it a continuation of the volatile bottoming out, or the starting point of a new round of market trends? How should we position ourselves?

1. My judgment: The mid-April will mainly see a consolidation, with a more intense differentiated market.
• The Bitcoin halving time is approaching (expected in mid to late April), but the market has already "speculated in advance," and it may enter a consolidation period in the short term;
• The approval of the Ethereum spot ETF is still pending, and the technical indicators are weak, with the ETH/BTC exchange rate hitting a new low for the stage;
• In terms of altcoins, the characteristics of "accelerated hot rotation, rising for one day and falling for three days" are becoming increasingly evident.

So, my basic judgment for April is:
Mainstream coins have entered a relay oscillation period, with capital games leaning more towards structural market conditions; sectors that tell a story will rise first.

2. The Narrative Directions I Support & Recommended Cryptocurrencies:

1. BTC ecological sector (halving expectations are not yet complete, ecological explosion is still on the way)
• STX: The leading Layer 2 solution for BTC, with continuous ecological development and TVL growth, the most representative "BTC + smart contract" project;
• ORDI: The liquidity in the BRC20 sector remains abundant. Although the short-term risks are significant, there is no shortage of capital for speculation;
• RUNES ecosystem token (emerging): A new protocol set to launch on the Bitcoin network, expected to ignite new speculation logic.

Reason: Halving drives the "storytelling", ecological expansion supplements the "technical shortcomings", BTC is not only a store of value but is also becoming the "application base".

2. AI Narrative (Funding Attention Resurgence, Web3 Version Concept)
• FET: A leading player in the AI sector, benefiting from new hotspots like Layer3 and Bot services;
• AKT: The core of the AI computing power sector, riding the dual trends of decentralized computing power and training demand;
• TAO: The model training network logic is valid, and although the market value is large, it is suitable for medium to long-term tracking.

Reason: AI is no longer just a Web2 solo act; the "data rights confirmation, model invocation, and training cost sharing" of Web3 have become the new narrative foundation.

3. Meme Coins (the speculative star of April, sentiment indicator)
• PEPE, WIF, FLOKI, DOG, BONK and other second-tier or above meme coins;
• Strategy suggestion: light position + quick in and out + act based on K-line movement, do not place orders based on belief.

Reason: If the market sentiment warms up in April, Meme will definitely be the fastest direction to rise; at the same time, it is also the easiest to "bounce back and then dive from a high platform," so caution is needed.

4. Airdrop-related ecosystem & on-chain interaction opportunities

Key focus:
• The participation standards are gradually transitioning from "interaction volume" to "quality + on-chain identity";
• Friends with time and execution ability might as well treat this direction as "zero-cost speculation for high returns."

3. My trading advice for April: Defend while attacking, ambush during sector rotation.

Types and Strategy Recommendations
BTC / ETH: Suitable for regular investment and replenishment, an important observation point is when BTC pulls back to below 80K, and ETH is more cost-effective when it retraces to the 1750 area.
Altcoins: Control positions + focus on hotspots, better to miss than to chase highs; rotation rhythm is fast, light positions for short waves.
Airdrop ecosystem: multi-chain distribution, multi-account interaction, focusing on the sustainability & activity of old projects; don't be greedy, focus on probability.

Four, to conclude:

March is the reshuffling month, April is the gaming month.

Macroeconomic disturbances, fading emotions, and the approaching halving make the market harder to navigate, but opportunities are hidden within these "difficulties."

A bull market is not about rising every day, but about slowly finding your rhythm when others are in fear, quietly lurking, and then迎来 the next take-off.

What do you think?

Do you think the market will continue to fall in April or will it reverse? Which directions or currencies are you optimistic about? Are you currently in the "averaging down" camp or the "wait-and-see" camp?
