According to the Gate.io News bot and ledgerinsights, Charles Schwab is preparing to offer cryptocurrency investment services to its clients. The company’s president and incoming CEO, Rick Wurster, revealed that Charles Schwab is currently providing clients with crypto-related ETFs and futures products, and will launch Spot crypto investment services once the regulatory environment becomes clearer.
Compared to competitors like Robinhood that have already launched encryption services, Charles Schwab’s customer base is relatively unique. According to data from 2023, 56% of the company’s customers are over the age of 60.
