The Research Institute of Financial Technology at Renmin University of China published an article titled "The Rise of Stablecoins: A Catalyst for a New Era of Digital Finance," which points out that for emerging economies like China, the development of stablecoins brings three insights: first, experiences should be accumulated through pilot projects in closed scenarios such as cross-border e-commerce, regional trade, and offshore settlement; second, both technology and compliance should be promoted, enhancing reserve transparency and on-chain security, and facilitating interoperability and mutual recognition between the digital yuan and controllable stablecoins; third, active participation in global governance mechanisms such as the BIS and IMF is essential to jointly promote the formulation of digital finance rules and to strive for more benefits and discourse power for developing countries.
