According to Ha Shijian news, Google Cloud has released its L1 Blockchain project GCUL. This project uses Python-based smart contracts and aims to create a neutral infrastructure for finance, providing "native commercial bank on-chain currency," all-day capital market infrastructure, payment, and agency functions. Currently, GCUL is in the private testing network phase. Earlier this year, Google and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) announced a partnership to develop a crypto asset pilot, with more technical details to be provided in the coming months.
