On the same day, the A-share market showed mixed results, with the Shanghai Composite Index dropping nearly 1% in the first half of the day. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index decreased by 0.65%, while the ChiNext Index rose by 0.95%. The total transaction volume in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets was 23.957 billion yuan, a decrease of 51.67 billion yuan compared to the previous day, with over 4,500 stocks falling across the market.
From the perspective of sectors, gaming, lithography machines, film and television theaters, semiconductors, and precious metals sectors saw the largest gains; military equipment, securities, insurance, dairy, and pork sectors experienced the largest declines. International gold prices hit a new high overnight, stimulating continued activity in the precious metals sector, with Western Gold hitting the limit up.
The gaming sector rose collectively in the morning session, with Giant Network, G-bits, and 37 Interactive Entertainment all climbing. Meanwhile, the military equipment sector experienced fluctuations and a decline in the morning, with North Long Dragon, AVIC Changfei, and Zhong Wuyun falling over 10% during the session. The securities sector also underwent some adjustments, with Guosheng Jin控 dropping over 5%, and Zhongyin Securities, Pacific Securities, and Xinda Securities all declining.
