Is SOL going to da moon? Spot ETF is approaching + institutions are going crazy, how high can it reach by the end of the year?
There has been a lot of positive news for SOL recently! A Bitwise executive directly stated "epic rise," and a bunch of institutions like Grayscale and VanEck are queuing up to apply for a Spot ETF. The SEC is set to make a decision in early October—this rhythm is exactly the same as back in the Bitcoin ETF days!
In the short term, SOL is likely to follow the "expectation speculation" route. Regardless of whether the ETF is approved or not, funds will be positioned in advance. Once approved, even if the initial inflow of funds is not large, the sentiment-driven + FOMO funds entering the market could push it to the previous high of $200 or even break through that level; in case it is not approved, there might be a pullback, but in the long run, I still hold a positive view on the ecological fundamentals and institutional interest.
I personally predict that the SOL price range will be between $180 and $250 by the end of the year (setting a flag, haha). The key is to see how the market reacts after the ETF news is released, and whether the Solana ecosystem (especially the DePIN and Meme sectors) can continue to attract new users.
In trading, I prefer to buy in batches when prices drop, rather than easily chasing highs. I will continue to hold the positions I acquired below $140 and set dynamic take-profit orders. SOL is highly volatile, so definitely do not go all in; keep some funds available to deal with black swan events.
