#Gate500万U交易计划来袭

The decentralized lending protocol Abracadabra Money suffered a hacker attack late Saturday night on October 4, (. The attacker exploited a vulnerability in the solvency check of the smart contract and stole approximately $1.8 million worth of Magic Internet Money (MIM) stablecoin.

The investigation shows that the attack was due to the exploitation of the core function "cauldron" of the protocol that issues the MIM stablecoin. The attacker repeatedly operated through multiple addresses to bypass the verification logic and extracted MIM stablecoins from the protocol. Additionally, the initial funds in the attacker’s wallet came from the mixer Tornado Cash, and after the attack was completed, some of the funds were exchanged for approximately 395 ETH and sent back to Tornado Cash for laundering.
