I have been on a road trip recently and I estimate it will take more than 10 days before I return home. Here I share a personal thought: Can the China-US relationship be eased? Is there room for negotiation?
My answer is negative; there is a bigger storm here than the interest rate cut. We have reached a turning point, and the rapid decline in the birth rate is a manifestation of society being under extreme pressure. If this birth rate continues, many things will collapse rapidly. At least this is the strongest point in time; if we don't compete now and don't confront the Americans, in a few years, with the aging population worsening, we will have even less say. The problem is that confrontation is bloody; you either listen to them like Japan and South Korea or make them feel pain. Therefore, during this period, China-U.S. relations will continue to deteriorate.
