There has never been a shortage of wealth creation myths on-chain. Looking back at past data, those enviable cases are still vivid in memory:

The early adopters of SHIB saw their account numbers grow by several zeros in just a few months; when PEPE first came out, there were addresses that made a life-changing leap in less than a year; not to mention DOGE, which has become a legendary relic in the crypto space. Even some new things that have recently emerged have cases of exploding in a very short window.

These stories share a commonality - they all capture the earliest stage of the asset lifecycle, having already set up before liquidity has fully emerged.

We have now reached a critical juncture. A major upgrade for Ethereum is on the horizon, and this move may bring several changes: transaction costs are likely to decrease significantly, the activity level of the on-chain ecosystem will probably increase, and the primary market may become lively again.

While most people are still focused on the fluctuations of the secondary market, some funds have already started looking towards earlier stages. History will not simply copy and paste, but certain underlying logics are always similar.

Two paths lie ahead: either continue being a spectator, watching other people's stories; or start paying attention to new developments on the Ethereum 链上, and look for those early projects with a community foundation.
