🛡 On November 12, Google announced that it filed a civil lawsuit in the Southern District of New York to prevent the spread of Lighthouse phishing malware, of Chinese origin.
✅ According to the company, Lighthouse equipment was used to create at least 200,000 fraudulent websites and targeted over 1 million potential victims in 121 countries.
The Lighthouse complaint describes it as a full-fledged criminal organization with separate teams involved in development, data brokerage, spam distribution, financial theft, and marketing.
