The global Earth observation distributed network (GEODNET) is the largest RTK network in the world. Real-time kinematics (RTK) is the next generation positioning service signal, which is 100 times more accurate than standalone global positioning systems, with an absolute positioning accuracy of 1 centimeter. GEODNET has established a spatial meteorological mining station network using the DePIN principle, reporting in real-time the impact of solar wind on the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals and generating RTK signals. This data is typically used for precise calibration of global navigation satellite system signals to provide centimeter-level positioning accuracy and improve absolute time accuracy to the nanosecond level.
