Before playing contracts, ask yourself a question: do you really want to survive, or do you want to prove how bad your luck is?

I looked through his transaction records and understood—starting with 20x leverage, going all-in on one cryptocurrency, and refusing to give up even after losses. This is not trading; it's clearly gambling with his life.

I asked him to stop for a moment. Don't rush to recoup your losses, let's take it slow.
The first thing is to keep an eye on the funding rate.
If the funding rate of ETH has been positive for several consecutive days, it means that the bulls are paying the bears, reflecting the market sentiment. This is much more tangible than candlestick charts.

Higher leverage doesn't necessarily mean better.
New to trading? A leverage of 3 to 5 times is more than enough. Over 10 times is the game for seasoned traders. Opening a position with 100 times leverage sounds exciting, but in reality, if the price moves by 1%, you will be liquidated, and you won't even have a chance to stop it.

Position management is the fundamental key to survival.
A single coin should account for no more than 30% of your total funds, and your total position should never be full. I've seen too many people create myths of earning ten times their money in a week, but what's more common is the reality of losing everything in a week. What's the difference? It's whether or not you leave yourself an exit route.

The trader's status has returned now; last week he made 5000U from 1300U. He said that what he truly appreciates is not how much money he made, but finally understanding how not to be eliminated in this market.
