Musk and his dog "Twitter CEO": the magic of a tweet that moves millions

robot
Abstract generation in progress

Elon Musk has just shown once again why the crypto market trembles every time he tweets. This morning he shared a photo of his dog Floki dressed as the CEO of Twitter in a suit and glasses, and wrote: “The new CEO of Twitter is amazing. He is great with numbers and has a great sense of style.”

The Musk effect in action

The joke was enough to move the market:

  • Dogecoin: +6.6% → $0.28401
  • Floki: +27% → $0.00018026
  • The entire dog-themed ecosystem in green

Billy Markus, co-founder of Dogecoin, responded to the thread: “It's cute to see him with glasses.” The irony: while Musk is looking for a new CEO for X ( before Twitter ), his dog already has the position on the internet.

Why does this work?

Since 2013, every mention of Musk about dogs has triggered rallies in DOGE. The market knows that behind every tweet there is pure speculation, but the cycle repeats: Musk tweets → massive FOMO → pump.

Dogecoin was born as a joke to mock the Bitcoin craze, but it became Musk's favorite cryptocurrency. Now, with Floki, NEIRO, and everything related to green canines, it is clear: in crypto, sometimes the best foundation is that the richest man in the world simply likes your pet.
