Don't remind me again today

The phrase "send to MetaMask" is understandable, but... it just doesn't sit right with me. Even though it means sending to a Wallet Address, it feels a bit off to express it using the app name.

I think people say it this way simply because it's easier for everyone... I think they're choosing convenience over accuracy.

Alright, I've always been stuck on this saying too... In reality, it's just transferring funds to a wallet address. Saying "send to MetaMask" is really ridiculous.

Indeed, saying "send to MetaMask" feels a bit strange... essentially, it's just transferring to a Wallet Address. Using the app name makes it seem less professional, somewhat like confusing the concepts.

This habitual way of speaking is essentially a form of laziness in market perception, as it treats the names of tools as carriers of value... To put it bluntly, it's the best example of carrying the sedan chair; everyone says it, so you say it too, and in the end, those who truly understand become the minority.

Honestly, I was thinking the same thing. It should be "send to the wallet address" instead of "send to MetaMask," and it frustrates me every time. The only reason everyone says it that way is because it's convenient, but it still feels wrong.

Haha, indeed, saying "send to MetaMask" sounds like sending money to an application, but it's actually just a wallet address.

ngl "Sending to MetaMask" is a way of saying that I totally understand. Referring to it by the app name instead of the wallet address is really vague... when in reality, you're just sending to that address.

I totally get the way of saying "send to MetaMask". Technically, it should be "send to Address", but for some reason, it feels like we substitute the app name. Maybe it's because a lot of people choose Wallet, so that's just what we end up saying.
