Monday saw emerging-market equities tick upward, with currency markets holding relatively stable. The market sentiment? Still banking on the Fed pulling the trigger on a rate cut come December. Traders are keeping that possibility front and center, and it's clearly influencing positioning across developing economy assets right now.

tbh the whole "december rate cut" narrative is getting kinda circular at this point... like arguably we're just watching path dependency in action, innit. sub-optimal incentive structures all around if you ask me

Emerging markets rose again on Monday, still relying on that trap of a rebound logic, supported by the interest rate cuts in December.

Here we go again, this trap of emerging markets rising and falling, still that line "wait for the interest rate cut in December". Wake up, guys.

Are they betting on a rate cut in December again? It's the same old story, they always hype it up, but what’s the result? Emerging markets are showing off this little rise.

ngl the december rate cut hopium is getting dangerous rn... seen this movie before and it doesn't end well for latecomers. em equities pumping on speculation while your health factor's slowly bleeding out. not financial advice but watch those collateral ratios, fr

Damn, it's this trap of December interest rate cut expectations again. Are emerging markets so easily led by the Fed?
