Don't remind me again today

$ETH This past 24 hours have truly witnessed history - 500 million dollars just vanished like that?

The reason is quite simple: Trump made a harsh remark on Air Force One, saying that the new chairman of the Federal Reserve has been decided, but he just wouldn’t say who it is. With just this one sentence, the market collapsed directly. Bitcoin fell below $87,000, Ethereum couldn't hold $2,900, and over 170,000 people across the network were liquidated, with long positions alone losing $460 million.

What's even more outrageous is that there are now two rumors flying around: one is that White House economic advisor Hassett has a nomination probability as high as 58%. This person made it quite clear during an interview - "If I were to do it, I would lower interest rates as soon as I took office." The other is a sudden little essay popping up overseas, claiming that Powell is going to resign urgently on Monday night? However, the Federal Reserve's official schedule indicates he has a public speech that evening, and his term is originally set to end in May 2026. He has repeatedly stated that he would not leave early.

Interestingly, Hassert said "it's all market rumors," but then hinted that "everyone is looking forward to a low interest rate environment." It's worth noting that he has a very close relationship with Trump, and if he really takes office, a rate cut of more than 100 basis points in 2026 is not impossible. So this wave of crash might just be the market digesting expectations in advance?

The situation is very delicate now: on one side, there are "candidates chosen but not announced," and on the other, "resignation rumors are being refuted." The drama at the Federal Reserve has just begun. Can BTC hold the line at 80,000? Will the expectation of interest rate cuts really reverse the market? To be honest, I can't quite understand it either; let's wait and see.

Hasset's expression is really amazing, talking about rumors while hinting at interest rate cuts. Isn't this just wanting to have it both ways?

Hassett's words are the real bombshell; once the interest rate cut expectations are confirmed, BTC will directly To da moon. Trump loves to tease like this; the market is being played thoroughly. The news about Powell's resignation is purely fake news; the official website is clear about it. This wave of long order has really been played people for suckers; it's pitiful. Let's wait until Monday to see the outcome; I feel the market will still be tumultuous.

Hassett's face is really amazing, saying "it's all rumors" and then turning around to hint at interest rate cuts. Isn't this just a roundabout way of confirming it? Trump's set of rhetoric works in the crypto world as well.

500 million dollars just disappeared like that, Trump can collapse the whole network with one sentence, this political game is really amazing. Really, I've heard Hassett's rhetoric too many times, denying it on the surface but hinting at it behind the scenes, a typical double-faced operation. The rumors about Powell resigning are ridiculously absurd, the official schedule is right there, yet some people are still spreading rumors. Can interest rate cut expectations save the market? I doubt it, this big dump seems to be more than just digesting expectations. Let's see if BTC can stand back at 80,000, saying anything now is pointless.
