Bitwise's Head of Research for Europe, André Dragosch, stated that the current price of Bitcoin reflects the most pessimistic global growth expectations since 2022, which means that most of the downside risks have been absorbed by the market, and favourable information could have an asymmetrical positive impact. The current trading price of Bitcoin is $85,000, and Dragosch expects growth expectations to accelerate, paving the way for significant rises in Bitcoin. Analysts predict a V-shaped recovery for Bitcoin, with a target price of reaching $125,000 by February 2026 and between $150,000 to $200,000 in the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, the new Bitcoin Layer 2 solution, Bitcoin Hyper, has raised $28.7 million, aiming to bring speeds and smart contracts functionality similar to Solana to Bitcoin.
