Don't remind me again today

At 2 AM, WeChat suddenly exploded.

A veteran who has been trading contracts for over half a year bombarded with voice messages: an account with 10,000 USDT, fully leveraged 10x long, and the market only retraced by 3 points, and the funds evaporated.

Open his position record - 9500U all-in, stop-loss line? Doesn't exist.

I have seen this kind of situation too many times. Many people interpret "full position mode" as "strong pressure resistance", but in fact, it's quite the opposite: using a full position incorrectly can result in losses even faster than using a partial position.

**The root of the problem: it's not about the leverage multiple, it's about how much you wagered**

Assuming you have 1000U:
- Using 900U with 10x leverage, if the market moves against you by 5%, the account will be wiped out.
- But if you only use 100U to open 10x, a 50% fluctuation will trigger a liquidation.

My friend is a typical case: he threw 95% of his principal into a single trade, leveraged 10 times, and a slight pullback wiped him out completely.

**How did I manage to double my investment without any liquidation using my entire position in the past six months?**

**Article 1: Single investment should not touch 20% of total funds**
There are 10,000 U in the account, and a maximum of 2,000 U can be used at a time.
Even if a 10% stop loss is triggered due to a misjudgment, the loss is only 200U, and the principal is still there, allowing for a reallocation at any time.

**Article 2: Control single loss within 3% of the total position**
For example, if you open a long position of 2000U with 10x leverage and set a stop loss at 1.5% in advance, the maximum loss would be 300U, which is exactly 3% of the total capital.
Making a few wrong turns in a row won't cause any harm.

**Article 3: Do not trade in sideways markets, do not increase positions in profit**
Only capture breakout trends that are clearly visible; be patient and wait even if the consolidation is tempting.
After opening a position, strictly follow the plan and never increase the stake due to unrealized profits.

**The essence of full margin: it is a buffer mechanism, not a gambling table**

The logic of full position design is to give you room for error during fluctuations, but the premise must be light position trial and error + strict discipline risk control.

There was a brother in the community who would blow up his account every month. Later, he strictly followed these three principles and rolled his 5000U to 8000U in three months.

He later told me: "I used to think that going all-in was gambling with my life, but now I understand that going all-in is a tool to help me live more steadily."

In this market, it's not about who makes the most money, but about who can last till the end.
Less leverage on direction, more control on position. Slow is sometimes the fastest way.

Damn, another all in brother. Really, every time I see news like this, I think of that guy who got liquidated in one go and directly exited the circle.

It's the same old story again, 20% Position, 3% stop loss... Sounds good, but how many actually execute it? My fren was bragging in the group the other day about how he manages risk, and then a black swan event made him go All in and lose everything.

Another 9500U All in... This guy really dares to play, no wonder his account blew up at 2 AM. To be honest, looking at his Holdings record is no different from looking at a casino, and he doesn't even set a stop loss. This isn't trading; it's a suicidal transfer to the exchange.

It's another story of Full Position and All in, the same old tale. The key is still the mindset; this 20% single transaction really saves lives.

That guy is really something, going all in with 9500U and hasn't set a stop loss; what else could he be but a gambler... I used to be like that too, but after losing a lot, I finally understood how good a light position is.
