Don't remind me again today

Recently noticed an interesting phenomenon - Vitalik Buterin and the founder of Aave have both bet on the same project.

The project called Aztec held a public sale, but their approach is completely different from the usual methods: there were no airdrops to create hype, and there was no overwhelming preheating. This low-key strategy instead makes people curious about what they are really selling.

Several points worth pondering:

First, let's talk about why not to go the airdrop route? Nowadays, project teams often distribute tokens to boost popularity, while Aztec chooses to go against the trend and directly sell. What is the underlying logic here? Is it confidence in their own technology, or is there another plan?

Looking at the privacy sector again. To be honest, it has been somewhat lukewarm, but there must be a reason why top institutions are pouring money into it. What position does Aztec hold in this area? Is the technological barrier strong enough?

The specific gameplay of public sales is also quite crucial. How the pricing mechanism is designed, how the quotas are allocated, and what the lock-up conditions are—these details often conceal the true intentions of the project parties.

Finally, here is the panoramic view of the entire privacy track. Aside from Aztec, what are the projects that have received checks from top institutions doing? Comparing them might reveal some insights.

Has anyone studied these issues? I feel that the approach of this project is quite unique.

Wow, even Vitalik Buterin is playing this, it seems the privacy track is really about to gain momentum. Not doing an airdrop is actually more attractive, this old fox's technique. How is the Aztec technology underlying this? Can someone knowledgeable give us an overview? It feels like this public sale is going to be snatched up by institutions, how can retail investors participate? It's indeed quite strange that privacy coins haven't been popular; could it be that they're about to make a comeback?

The project that V神 and Marc are collaborating on really has something going for it. Not doing an airdrop and going straight to sales? Being bold enough to do this shows strong technical confidence, or maybe they just want to filter people out. The privacy track hasn't really taken off, but now with so many large investors entering the scene, it feels like the tide is about to turn. How the pricing and lock-up conditions are set will determine whether the project is truly innovative or just another way to play people for suckers.

Not doing Airdrops instead shows more confidence, but can the privacy track really take off?
