Recently I fell into a trap and must share it with everyone. I had stored some coins in a small exchange before, and last week I suddenly found my account locked. After contacting customer service, I learned that they have now launched strict risk control measures for users in specific regions.

What’s even more outrageous is that the assets in the account were directly labeled as "illegal funds," and the appeals process is so complicated that it’s suffocating. The customer service response was that it was "processed according to platform rules," but these rules were never disclosed in advance.

A reminder to everyone: If you still have assets on some non-mainstream platforms, it's better to transfer them to major platforms or cold wallets as soon as possible. Don't wait until there are problems with your account and then regret it; by then, the cost of safeguarding your rights will be so high that you'll doubt your life. Some lessons are really not worth experiencing personally.

tbh this is exactly why i've been screaming about custodial risk for years... cefi platforms doing surprise rule changes is peak centralization theater. the "we'll freeze your funds and call it compliance" playbook gets old fast honestly

Damn, this is the rhythm of stepping into a pit, small platforms really can't be trusted. You really have to go to big platforms, otherwise your assets can disappear overnight. That's why I'm resolutely avoiding small exchanges; their risk control mechanisms can be changed at will, who cares about you?
