Copper just pulled back after hitting an all-time high. Looks like weaker demand from China as winter approaches could actually help relieve some pressure on the tight global supply situation. Winter slowdown might be exactly what the market needs right now to rebalance things.

When winter demand weakens, does the market just suck in? I've heard this argument too many times; the real arbitrage opportunities have never been on the surface.

nah this "rebalancing" narrative is just cope from the weak hands who got caught holding bags at the top. china's demand didn't weaken—it shifted. these paper pushers always miss the real accumulation happening under the surface.

Is it a good thing that China's demand has weakened? This logic is quite extreme; can relieving supply pressure really make it rise back?
