Those who trade in contracts understand; this is not a trade, but an exchange of your sleep for a false sense of certainty. When you lie down, you still hold the Position, and when you close your eyes, the lines of liquidation spin in your mind. And when you wake up in the middle of the night, your first instinct is not to drink water, but to open the Candlestick.

What is most frightening about contracts is not losing money, but making people believe that "if I just follow a little longer, I'll be able to make up for it." The result is that focus increases chaos, and the more you calculate, the more anxious you feel. You follow the market until morning, your emotions are pulled with the market movements, and your sleep is drained by leverage. The next day, you continue to work as if you are a soulless being. What you lose is not capital, but energy, focus, and the ability to judge.
Simply put, as long as the Position is open, you are always in a state of "you could be awakened at any moment". You can't sleep deeply, you wake up quickly, and your heart rate is faster than market movement.
Contracts are not a fast track to profit, but rather the end of quality sleep.
You think you stay up waiting for opportunities, but in reality, you are turning yourself into an opportunity.
