If you want to try quantitative trading, you might as well start by reading some introductory books. There are quite a few materials on algorithmic trading and data analysis available in the market, so find a few systematic readings to chew on, and then practice hands-on; gradually you'll get the hang of it. The path of quant trading does require some patience, but once you master the basic framework, progress will come faster than you might expect.

It sounds good, but in reality, most people still lose money even after reading books.

It's easy to say, but in reality, those books just gather dust after being bought; you still have to spend money to try and make mistakes.

lol "入门书" yeah sure, until you realize most trading books are just survivorship bias wrapped in pretty charts. the real edge comes from understanding market microstructure and liquidity dynamics, not reading recycled lessons from 2008.

You are right, but how many people can really stick it out and finish those books? I've tried it, but in the end, paying tuition comes faster, haha.

It's easy to say, but you'll only know how difficult it is when you actually try it.
