#美联储恢复降息进程 The next head of the Fed is coming?

The name Hassett has recently been making waves in the crypto circle. The market has assigned him a 76% probability of being elected. This former senior economist at the Fed has a classic dovish style—publicly calling for significant interest rate cuts and stating that the current rates are suffocating the economy. His goal is clear: to cut the federal funds rate from the current 3.75-4.0% to below 3%.

Why is the crypto world so concerned? Simply put, liquidity is the lifeblood of the crypto market. The core reason for Bitcoin dropping below $90,000 in November was due to the tightening of USD liquidity. Hassett's contribution is not just a nice addition, but rather a timely help — the expectation of interest rate cuts can directly ease the current tightness of capital, and also leave ample room for imagination for future market trends.

The key is that this person knows how to push policies. Having worked for many years at the Fed, they know how to implement easing measures. Currently, funds for Bitcoin spot ETFs are continuously flowing out, and institutions are watching, waiting for a clear signal of liquidity turning. Once interest rate cuts are realized, those low-cost funds will prioritize entering high-elasticity assets, $BTC and $ETH are sure to be the first beneficiaries.

The timing is also quite perfect. The current government is already friendly towards cryptocurrencies, the stablecoin bill has just been implemented, and the regulatory framework has become clear. And with a Fed chairman advocating for easing? Policy support coupled with liquidity easing, a double buff stacked up.

Don't expect the Fed to be completely independent—market-oriented figures like Hassett will definitely respond to calls for interest rate cuts. For the cryptocurrency market, this is a long-term solid positive. We are now at a liquidity turning point, and the news that Hassett may assume a position has actually been quietly changing market expectations. Cognitive differences lead to differences in returns, and the market always rewards those who can see further.

Liquidity shift is a slaughter knife; once Hassett takes office, we will have stories to tell.

Once the expectation of interest rate cuts is out, the funds that institutions are watching are indeed stirring... but is this 76% probability a bit overestimated?

The liquidity is accurately pivoting to this point, but now it seems that those who dare to go all in are probably a minority.

Wait, didn't you see the on-chain data for the ETF fund outflows? Was that wave in November really just a liquidity issue? I checked the address concentration on Glassnode, and the Whale addresses were actually accumulating at that time, which shows that the Large Investors were not panicking at all; it was the retail investors who were buying the dip. This kind of macro narrative is just for listening; don't take it seriously.

The liquidity shift signal is crucial, and institutions are definitely waiting for this time point.

76% probability to get on board? We'll have to see if Hasset can really make the decision, those people at the Fed are quite good at dragging things out, and we still have to wait and see if interest rates will actually be cut.
