John Frechette dropped a reality check that's worth noting: no matter what politicians promise, there's no magic wand to roll back prices to pre-2021 levels. The inflationary wave that hit from 2021 through 2023? That's baked into the economy now. Governments can slow future inflation, sure, but reversing the overall price level? Not happening. This matters for crypto folks because it reinforces why hard-capped assets keep gaining traction as inflation hedges. When fiat keeps losing purchasing power, decentralized alternatives start looking pretty solid.

There really is no regret medicine, I should have entered a position to do some coin hoarding earlier.

To be honest, I haven't trusted politicians for a long time. If prices can't go back down, then they just can't. What we should think about is how to protect our assets... This guy is right, inflation has already been ingrained in the economy. Rather than waiting for interest rate cuts, it’s better to allocate some truly limited assets to preserve value.

You are right, inflation cannot be reversed, and we still have to rely on coins to preserve value.

Data shows that prices are not going back, and that is the truth. However, many people in the crypto world are still fantasizing about some kind of bottom... Just wait a little longer.

To be honest, politicians' promises are just empty promises. We should wake up.
