Taking advantage of this market correction, I decided to fly to Hong Kong to take care of some bank card matters.
Originally, I just wanted to sort out my funding channels, but ended up giving myself a little vacation as well. HSBC was actually pretty efficient—they approved it the same day. ZhongAn's application is still being processed, so I’ll probably have to wait a few more days.
To be honest, the recent environment for moving funds out has been a real headache. Traditional channels are getting tighter, and this is when you really appreciate the value of having a Hong Kong card—it’s not just an alternative for moving funds in and out, but also a backup route for crypto asset allocation. When the market is down, it’s the perfect time to get this kind of preparation done, so when things pick up, you can use it right away.

A Hong Kong card really is a hard requirement, especially since more and more people are getting payout cards these past two years... I think HSBC’s efficiency is pretty good.

Hong Kong cards are really awesome. I want to get one too, but HSBC's threshold is a bit high. Feeling envious.

A Hong Kong card really is a necessity; if you don't handle withdrawals properly, you could suffer heavy losses.
