Don't remind me again today

Aave’s latest move is pretty ruthless—they just kicked USDS and DAI off the collateral list.

The vote result? Almost unanimous. And keep in mind, these two are the biggest native stablecoins in crypto!

Honestly, I have AAVE, SKY, and SPK in my wallet, so I’m really torn right now. But let’s calm down and break down what happened:

Why did Aave do this? Their proposal mainly gave two reasons—

First, there are risk concerns with how Sky and SubDAO allocate USDS. This is definitely worth paying attention to; protocol security should always come first.

As for the second reason… (the original tweet had an image, but didn’t go into details)

Anyway, the fact that this proposal passed so quickly and with such a high margin shows the community really cares about risk control. Still, for people holding multiple related tokens, the feeling is complicated. That’s just how DeFi works—protocols collaborate and compete, and today’s allies might go their separate ways tomorrow.
AAVE0.37%
DAI0.03%
SKY2.64%
SPK-0.17%

This is getting interesting. Aave really isn’t showing any mercy, just kicking out two major stablecoins. I just want to ask, is USDS getting the death penalty or just a reprieve? --- What’s there to be torn about? Risk control comes first, Sky needs to figure out what to do. --- The relationships between these protocols can flip at any moment—my wallet is really suffering. --- Passing unanimously means what? Everyone’s already seen through it. --- So what exactly is the second reason? Talking like this is basically digging a hole for someone. --- That’s DeFi: today’s ally is tomorrow’s enemy. Can I still trust my AAVE? --- I agree with putting safety first, but why does it feel like they’re just passing the buck? --- If this kind of move happened in traditional finance, they’d have been roasted long ago. --- I really want to know what USDS holders are feeling right now.

Sigh, all three in my wallet turned out to be scams—guess that's just fate. I understand that risk control comes first, but why does it feel like what's safe today becomes a backstab tomorrow...

Damn, both USDS and DAI got kicked out? That's pretty harsh.

Now SKY and USDS are going to be put on ice... The coins I’m holding are really something else.

watching the mempool on this one... aave just executed a textbook delisting move and honestly? the fee patterns tell the story better than any governance post ever could. risk > yield optimization, always. sky's USDS distribution model was basically begging for a liquidation cascade, so... network called it correctly this time around

Well, this is really awkward. All my USDS is stuck in my hands now. Honestly, risk control is risk control, but this pace and this situation... it feels like we're being set up. Even DAI can be kicked out? Is anything still stable on-chain?
