In the past couple of days, I’ve had some conversations with a few truly influential people in the industry, and to be honest, it’s been quite thought-provoking.
I’m just a small-time blogger, and I’m very clear about my own capabilities. This industry is deep, with all kinds of networks and small circles operating behind the scenes.
When I first entered this field, my thinking was really simple—I once heard a woman say something in an interview that really resonated with me: “If I could save up two million, life wouldn’t be so stressful.” That was my goal—just that simple.
After returning from the army in September 2018, I’ve been thinking about which path I should take.

Getting ahead through connections is just the way it is—it's really tough without a background.
Can 2 million really change your life? Feels like I'm always chasing the next goal.
Having a military background in content creation is pretty rare—how did you end up choosing this path?
I totally get how small circles operate; sometimes it's even more important than the content itself.
By the way, how did a minor influencer end up mingling with the big shots? Is there another shakeup coming?

Ayy, you really can't get around the whole network of connections.
That's the truth. Just laugh when you look at those two million dreams.
Coming back from the military and jumping straight into this line of work, that's some guts.
The entry barrier for this circle is even higher than I imagined.
To put it plainly, it's still connections that determine everything.
Everyone fights their way up from the bottom, that's how it is for all of us.
A two million target sounds simple, but achieving it is hell-level difficulty.
This is the reality of web3—it's all about vested interests.
Water deep is an understatement.

Alright, listen, this space really isn't that transparent.
That two million target is easy to talk about but hard to achieve.

This circle relies on connections to survive. No matter how hard small creators work, it all comes down to networking.
Looking back, that dream of two million seems a bit naive now, haha.
Coming back from the army and jumping straight into content creation takes real guts.
A network of connections is the most valuable currency, no doubt about it.
A small circle will always be a small circle—don’t expect to break out.

Damn, it's really just a game of nesting dolls in this circle. You and I are both being played.
Talking about two million or whatever, it all sounds overpriced.
Connections are the real hard currency—everyone knows that.
Military background and a small influencer? Sounds like there's a story there.
Every day people talk about dreams, but in reality, they're all just helping their own people.
