Don't remind me again today

NVIDIA's top exec just dropped an interesting perspective on how cybersecurity really works behind the scenes. According to Jensen Huang, there's this unified front that most outsiders never see—security teams across different organizations actually function like a single organism when threats emerge.

What caught attention was his claim about information sharing. "The general public has no clue we operate as one entity," he explained. "Best practices flow freely between us. This coordination framework has been running for about 15 years now."

This matters for crypto infrastructure more than people realize. When exchanges, wallet providers, and DeFi protocols face attacks, similar collaboration models could mean the difference between isolated incidents and ecosystem-wide resilience. The security playbook he's describing isn't just corporate—it's a blueprint for how decentralized networks might mature their defense strategies.

NGL, what Jensen said is something the crypto space should have learned a long time ago. Right now, every exchange is just minding its own business... It will take a real storm for everyone to band together.

ngl, what Jensen said sounds pretty conspiratorial... Can security teams really be that united? It still feels to me like everyone is doing their own thing. If the Web3 space could really learn this system, it would be a game changer, but first, people have to truly trust each other. If hackers saw this, they’d be overjoyed... Centralized teams can coordinate so tightly, so us in decentralized space need to unite even more. Kind of wild, so low-key since 2015... Why are we only hearing about this now? The crypto ecosystem is all fragmented right now, suffering a lot, and really just lacking this kind of collaborative mechanism. Is Jensen trying to tell us there are no secrets? Feels a bit ironic. Damn, this explains why CeFi feels safer than DeFi... they have this kind of system in the background. Honestly, if DeFi could really build this kind of collaborative network, the ecosystem would be a lot more stable—but how would you even make it happen?

So, has there always been an invisible alliance operating in the dark? This kind of strategy should have been introduced to the crypto world much earlier. Isn't it a bit late to only think of it now?

NGL, Jensen's theory is pretty ironic when applied to DeFi. In traditional big companies, things can be coordinated, but once on-chain, everyone acts independently. In the end, it's still just as easy to break through.

So does this mean that CEXs have long been forming alliances behind the scenes? No wonder they can always respond quickly whenever there’s any trouble... When will the crypto space have this kind of 15-year coordination framework? Right now, it’s still everyone doing their own thing.

Damn, does this mean the traditional security circles have been playing team games for a long time, while we in crypto are still fighting our own battles? But wait, we only found out about the behind-the-scenes operations from 2015... The information gap feels ridiculously huge. If the DeFi ecosystem really wants to learn this kind of collaboration model, it probably has to solve the issue of how to create a "united front" in a decentralized environment first... Is that a contradiction? The Silicon Valley way sounds great in theory, but in reality... who can really trust it? Compliance coordination is one thing, but when real conflicts of interest arise, everyone still does their own thing.
