Don't remind me again today

A certain platform token has climbed back above 900! To be honest, I’ve always felt this thing is bound to keep going up sooner or later.

Lately, I’ve become the “evangelist” among my newbie friends—specifically introducing the benefits of holding platform tokens to those just entering the space. Even though I haven’t broken even myself yet (lol with tears), I still have faith. I just feel that in the long run, it’ll definitely get more and more stable.

Then I made a typical rookie mistake: I saw a bunch of people hyping $ASTER on the forums, and as a university student, I couldn’t help but follow the trend and bought 20. I’m treating it like buying a lottery ticket—if I lose, it won’t hurt too much.

What’s worse, a few days ago I couldn’t resist playing with contracts and went short on ETH, and lost another sum. Isn’t there a saying, “If you have money, don’t go to Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou; but if you’re in trouble, you’ll short Ethereum”? Why doesn’t it work for me?

Turns out I really need to control myself and stick to long-term investing, instead of always thinking about making a quick buck.

I want to ask the experienced folks: for a university student like me, besides dollar-cost averaging into mainstream coins, are there any other solid investment suggestions? Please show me the way!

Haha, your situation made me laugh out loud. Shorting ETH with contracts is really something else.

College students still dare to short ETH, that's some real guts, haha.

Haha, I'm all too familiar with this trick—lose money first, then come up with excuses, and in the end, you still have to use dollar-cost averaging.

Haha, this is hilarious. Haven't even broken even yet but still preaching to others. That’s some real conviction. Contracts are just gambling machines. If you’re itching to try, don’t touch them; just stick to regular investments honestly.

Haha, I'm all too familiar with this story. It's a common pitfall for college students playing with crypto. Just dollar-cost average into mainstream coins, that's enough—don't overthink it.
